This integration is operated solely for the owner’s personal use. It lets Hermes Agent, running on the owner’s Raspberry Pi, access the owner’s Gmail account through Google-authorised permissions.
Email data use
The integration reads and searches email messages to answer the owner’s requests. Email content needed for those requests may be sent to OpenAI’s GPT models for processing. Processing by OpenAI is subject to the terms and data policies applicable to the owner’s OpenAI service.
Storage and access
Hermes runs on the owner’s Raspberry Pi. Retrieved email content may be retained in local conversation history or logs, depending on the Hermes configuration. Authorisation credentials and any retained email data should be treated as private information.
This integration does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Its use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access
The owner can revoke the integration’s access through their Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revoking access stops future access but does not automatically delete previously stored data. Local conversation history, logs and credentials can be deleted separately.
